We are an all-volunteer food rescue organization dedicated to helping communities throughout Westchester County by connecting food donors and agencies serving people in need.

Every day, our volunteers rescue good, excess food from supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, farmers markets, bakeries, caterers, country clubs and corporate cafeterias and immediately deliver it to nearby soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters and community food programs.

Become a Food Rescue Volunteer

Food Rescue Volunteers are the lifeblood of County Harvest.  Whether you can commit to a weekly food rescue run or you’re able to fill in on occasion, we need your help.  Most food rescue runs take about an hour and can be done using your own car or one of our three vans.

For more information on how to become a Food Rescue Volunteer, fill out our volunteer form or send an email to help@countyharvest.org.
